MOUNT LAWLEY OPEN DAY
Our beautiful club will be holding its annual Open Day on Sunday 29th September, from 12.30pm until 4pm.
It is a day where we open our doors to our members and the community, and celebrate and share the community atmosphere and activities we all enjoy on a daily basis throughout the year. Members and visitors can try the activities of our club:
- Lawn Bowls – enjoy an introduction to the game – a game for all ages and abilities – our players range from teenagers to adults
- Card Club – try your hand at cards – no knowledge necessary – learn about our beginner classes
- Rookie Rollers – aimed at bringing the sport of bowls to audiences of varying ages and abilities, and has had considerable success with kids, elderly, people with a physical or mental impairment, and many beginners around the nation
- Raffles – Great prices
You may already be a member but have never tried Bowls or Bridge. Or you may be a visitor and want to try both – Open Day is the day to do it!
There will be a BBQ at 1pm, and entertainment by the Ken Baxter Big Band – always good fun.
